The staff and management of Inaburra Preschool believe in providing quality education and care that promotes children's well-being, development and learning and caters for the changing needs of children and families. We are committed to the growth of each child as an individual.

We believe that a strong emphasis should be placed on the development of each child's self-worth. The children and their families are respected, valued and supported within the preschool. We believe in fostering children's independence by encouraging them to make choices and explore with freedom.

We believe in inclusion and that children should receive as much opportunity as possible to learn and develop. We support families in accessing services throughout the wider community. We believe that a program for children with additional needs is an integral part of the curriculum and is of benefit to all children.

We acknowledge that families are the most important people in children's lives and have the biggest influence on their learning. We aim to support the parent-child relationship. We encourage strong partnerships with parents and shared decision-making. We believe in consultation with families on a regular basis for advice or information regarding their child. We ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

All staff maintain an environment of high quality, health and safety, which is interesting and challenging for children. They plan for children as individuals based on a wide range qualifications, skills and experience. All staff are encouraged to attend regular in-services to keep up to date with the latest research and to gain fresh ideas for planning.

Above all we acknowledge children are contributors to their own learning. We aim to support and encourage this by attempting to see the world through their eyes. All staff are encouraged to maintain a caring, kind and compassionate attitude towards all children and families, reflecting the love of our Saviour, Jesus, and encouraging them to fulfil the plans He has for their lives.
