SUMMARY:Marriage Enrichment Course
DESCRIPTION:When we think about the word “investment” we usually refer to something material: money.  People pour a good deal of time\, effort and energy into securing our finances.  However\, if we are married\, how often do we consider pouring time\, energy and effort into that which is even more precious: the relationship with our partner?  As human beings we are designed for relationships: with God and with each other.  Yet quality relationships take time and effort.  They do not just happen.  So let us encourage you to invest in the primary relationship in your life (apart from God)\, if you are a married person. \nThis Marriage Enrichment Course consists of two 2-hour workshops that will focus on practical strategies for: \n\nenhancing communication\nconnection\, and\nconflict resolution in marriages.\n\nThe sessions will assist us to develop insight into what makes relationships work and changing our behaviour so that they work better.  They will be practical in nature with some skilled input\, group discussion and individual exercises for couples\, with takeaway skills for doing things differently. \nSession 1: Friday 1 August\, 7-9pm\nSession 2: Friday 15 August\, 7-9pm \nThe sessions will be facilitated by Keena Hudson\, a marriage therapist with 25 years experience.  Numbers will be limited.
