Jesus said, "I am the Vine, you are the branches. If a person remains in me and I in them, they will bear much fruit: apart from me you can do nothing... I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit: fruit that will last." (John 15:5,16 NIV)

There is a great reformation of the church to take place that will transform not only the church but the community within which it resides, and ultimately the whole world. It is when each person in the church is given both permission and encouragement to use their gifts for the building of the body of Christ.

Jesus' words make it clear that participation is not optional and that unless we are connected to Jesus, we can do nothing: our efforts will ultimately prove fruitless. There is a partnership so that when we link together, we are able to achieve far more than we can do on our own.
