Source is the artsy-sounding name of our normal youth group for students aged 12-15 at Menai Baptist Church. Each Friday night at 7:30pm we get together in the Inaburra complex, and have an awesome time learning about the One who created us; Jesus Christ.
Every few weeks or so, we head out on the town, to do some cool activities, whether bowling, car rallies, ice skating, the beach... whatever it is, we all have a sick time!
Regular Friday nights include:
Games
Live worship from the Source Band
A message about the christian faith from one of the leaders or guest.
SOURCE Friday nights are going to be that special zone in your life where people know your name, leaders invest in your life and God works to change you.

A healthy life, when you're at the tail end of your school career, involves connection with God and connection with your mates. F.N.T. is a great way to combine both.
Don’t forget to bring along your friends to these events, the more the merrier. We would love to have you along to learn more about being a Christian and living for God. We would also love to see you at church on Sunday night from 6.30pm at Inaburra School in the Media Centre.

If Source and F.N.T. are the "Big" gatherings of our youth community at Menai Baptist, the cell groups are the necessary "small" gatherings. Many students – of EVERY age – are invited to join a cell group with students their own age, because they need a focused and more intimate group to grow spiritually.
Group styles vary with preference and age-appropriateness considerations. Core activities in each group are study of the Christian Bible, prayer and group discussion of study material and life changes.
What we mean by this is:
Be directed by a leader in teaching & discussion of Christian living
Be trained in the habits and disciplines of a Christian's life
Make positive life changes in a supportive group setting
Additional mentoring by leader in spiritual disciplines and character
Times: These groups are arranged by consensus for times and venues suiting leaders and members. Many are mid-week early evening, a few run Sunday afternoon or early morning before school.

SALT
SALT is for 18 to 30 year olds, meeting in Small Groups for bible study, community and spiritual growth.
In addition to any formal events published below, SALTeens from 18 - 30 meet frequently in private homes following the Night Church Service - details advised in the church newsletter.
Christian worship and teaching for high school students and young adults (18-30.) It is recommended that students who join Source or F.N.T. consider becoming a part of the Sunday night community – to foster a greater connection with this group, and receive a deeper grounding in their spiritual and relational life. For more detail see Church Services -> Evening on the top menu.
