Adults (50+) Bradley’s Head Outing

You are welcome to join us at our next Adults (50+) Group outing to Bradley’s Head.

This area has amazing views of the city and harbour. We’ll walk along the track, pausing at Athol Beach, and admiring the views till we reach Bradley’s Head. There we’ll explore the Amphitheatre, lighthouse and historical relics and walk back a slightly different track, on the other side of the peninsular and up the hill, past Athol Hall and back to the wharf (it’s an easy 2 hours to do approx 3.5km, grade 3 walk with some steps).

Timing/Travel for the day

• We’ll meet at Sutherland station at 9.00am for the 9.05am train to the City, or meet at Wharf 4 (B), Circular Quay at 10.00am for the 10.12am ferry to Taronga Park.
• Do the walk out to Bradley’s Head.
• Catch the 12.34pm ferry back to the Quay and lunch at City Extra (1.00pm) on the Quay (Options from $17 to $38 a head).
• After lunch, catch train from the Quay or walk to Martin Place for train home.
