Cassandra (Cassy) Eccleston (Children’s Pastor)
Originally trained as a teacher, Cassy was called to Menai Baptist Church in December 2014 as the Children’s Pastor, after leading the Youth Ministry at Kiama Baptist Church for a number of years. This is not the first time she has been a member of Menai Baptist, having been part of the MBC youth and music teams from 1999 to 2004.
Cassy’s greatest ministry desire is to see churches move into action within communities to grow God’s Kingdom. Here at MBC she looks forward to greater connection with the children and families of Menai and beyond.
“I know God is using me to recruit, train, encourage and release others into ministry, but I am the most passionate when this inspires leaders to bless others in Jesus name, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.”
When she is not busy working to improve our children and families ministry at Menai Baptist, Cassy is busy raising two children, three if you count Cam (her husband). She loves coffee but insists that better brews are found in Kiama. She also loves God, her family and shopping, probably in that order.
