1. Ask God to speak to the group through His word.
2. One person reads the passage to the group, while each person identifies one key word which strikes them from the passage, and then shares it with the group. The group simply listens.
3. A second person then reads the passage from another translation and each person identifies the way in which this passage touches their life today and shares this with the group. The group simply listens.
4. A third person reads the passage from another translation, while each
member of the group identifies what God wants them to do or to become and then shares this with the group. The group simply listens.
5. Each member of the group then prays for the person on their right in the light of the things which have been shared.
